Is there such a thing as a symbian virus? And your ISP will provide you
adequate protection as thanks to DHCP you will get a different IP
address every time you connect.

Having a dynamic IP address doesn't generally do away with the need
for a firewall. People attacking remote machines tend to scan random
ranges of IP addresses.

The only thing a dynamic IP address protects you from is being
attacked by someone with a grudge against you personally. Not a very
likely situation for most people.

That said in this case a firewall is probably not necessary. Does a
Symbian phone even have any open tcp/udp ports when connected to the
Internet ?
