Master override unlock code? by
Bill Roland
I recently revived my dad's old Motorola carphone unit (AMPS/TDMA), and its
apparently locked, and he doesn't remember the unlock code (in fact, he
claims he never set one up) and none of the codes I tried work. Is there
some sort of master reset function that can be done? Thanks in advance.

Fraggle Rock Polyphonic by
Moody Marco
Can someone possibly tell me where to get this free? I can find it all over
the net but I grudge paying the prices they charge and the previews are all
in mp3 format.
Or is it possible to use an mp3 as a ringtone or convert an mp3 to midi?
Thanks!

ATTWS and Cingular in Mexico/Cancun by
Chris S
FYI, I took my attws Nokia 6360 (TDMA tri-mode) phone to
Cancun/Playacar last week, and to my surprize, I received a call! (I
took it only to have at the airport on my return, but switched it on
for grins while riding to my hotel).
My companion switched on his Cingular GSM phone, and also had a...

Samsung to develop dualmode CDMA-GSM handset by
John S.
Without AMPS
such a handset will not be of interest to any of the U.S. carriers.
And why would you say that. They are selling TDMA/GSM phones now without AMPS.
This would appear to me to be similar to a GSM/CDMA pgone, wouldn't you think?

A Test of Paying Attention Behind the Wheel
By JOHN O'NEIL
Listening while driving seems to be safe, even if the listening is
absorbing much of the driver's attention. But talking while driving,
it seems, is a different matter.

I made the mistake of getting a Panasonic cell phone with my AT&T service.

mA draw when making a call (Technical) by
Tom Ayers
First of all, it depends on the signal conditions. CDMA requires very
tight power control, so the transmitter output, and corresponding
current draw will vary. If your conditions are poor, it will draw more
current, as it increases the transmit power (up to the maximum of
200mW), but if you are...
